As you can see, I’ve revamped my website and this blog post will be the first of many this year. I’m going to need to balance it with many other things though as I want to keep my body as happy and healthy as I can.
Turning 40 last october really made me think about my mortality and that in turn, made me appreciate myself and what I have just a little bit more. So I’ll be taking more care to maintain that. It will have to start with some form of physical therapy. As leaning over to push a power button on my desk just after christmas, should never have caused this many mobility problems. 🙃
At the end of last year I started live streaming on my Twitch channel. I’m looking forward to doing more of that this year. Gaming is fun. However, I feel like there’s not enough public awareness for the blind gamer community. Since I fit fantastically in that community, I want to show my friends how that works. I’ll be uploading more YouTube videos too. Though I’m kinda concerned that the YouTube community has faded.
After finishing Atlas by Lucinda Riley in September, I stopped reading. I need to fix that. I already made a good start by reading Landing On All Four Paws: The Diary Of A Kitten Named Ollie by Pauline DewBerry. It’s such a wholesome book. I couldn’t put it down once I started. It even made me laugh out loud several times. I plan to read more of Pauline’s books and have a small list of others I’d also like to read.
I hope to return to doing more crafts too. I made a few clay models last year and would love to do more. This kind of creativity makes me feel zen and everyone needs a little zen in their lives.
2024, I really hope that you will bring me and my friends many positive things. Share a little warmth and spread a little love. I am looking forward to seeing what you have planned. Secretly I hope there are some outdoor adventures in your plan for me. Whatever it may be, I’m ready for you to bring it on.
